Ainslie Group team members with our three Clubs ACT Awards for 2023

It came with great pleasure that we celebrated the Clubs ACT Awards on Monday 23rd October and we applaud our team at the Ainslie Group on coming away with three awards! 🏆

It is an honour to accept the Sustainability & Environment award, since our solar panel installation at Gungahlin Lakes Golf & Community Club in 2022, we have reduced our impact by 10,334 kilograms of CO2 emissions, which gives us an environmental equivalent to having planted 2,140 trees.

Our Contribution to Community Sport, Development and Wellbeing award was achieved based on the incredible efforts from the team at the Ainslie Football Club. Having been driven from years of tireless efforts to establish equal resourcing across both male and female teams at the football club. We are pleased to state there has been significant achievement in the last year, with the increase of the women’s salary cap doubling that of last year, ensuring equal access to sports care and facilities, and growing community backing for women in sport.

Finally, we are delighted to win the Heart of the Community for large club award. As a group that strives to give back to our community at every opportunity, receiving this honour demonstrates we have lived up to our value of being the place for the people.

Our members remain our focus as we continue to do our best to make them proud. A massive thank you to our members, as we would not be here without them and are as a crucial part to our very existence. Thank you to our staff at the Ainslie Group, it is a shared win for us all. To Clubs ACT, our industry peers and supporting partners, we thank you for working alongside us and look forward to seeing what we can achieve in 2024.
