If you were at The Lakes yesterday, you may have wondered what all the fuss was about and why the car park was so full. Well, the fantastic crew from the Gecko Gang were there to keep the kids amused for some school holiday fun! Face painting kicked off the day with many Spiderman, butterflies, rainbows, princesses, cats and of course Batman requests.
It was definitely the biggest hit of the day!
Glitter tattoos and facepainting were a huge hit!
Other fun stuff in the kids play room included making aeroplanes, colouring in and many other crafty activities. Of course with the restaurant and Ripples café also open there was plenty of time for the parents to take a break while the kids were kept busy.
A big thank you to the girls from the Gecko Gang, they will be back next Tuesday (11th July) so if you missed out yesterday, don’t worry there is plenty of time for more school holiday fun at The Lakes from 11.30am.
